Rome marathon to be held on 19 March.
The 2023 version of the Maratona di Roma shall be launched on Sunday 19 March with a tenor singing the nationwide anthem adopted by a flypast over the Colosseum by Italy’s Frecce Tricolori jets.
Well-known for emitting plumes of the three colors from the Italian flag, the aerobatic demonstration group of the Italian Air Drive takes to the skies to mark necessary occasions and public holidays in Italy.
The 42-km race begins and ends on the Colosseum, taking in round 30 landmarks on the way in which, from the Roman Discussion board to Castel S. Angelo and the Spanish Steps.
Parallel to the primary occasion, there may be the non-competitive “Stracittadina” 5-km enjoyable run within the Circus Maximus space, and the charity Run4Rome relay race.

The time restrict for crossing the end line is seven hours, and anybody who fails to succeed in the midway mark inside three and a half hours is required to surrender.
Those that final the space are rewarded with a medal in addition to a goody bag and a foil wrap to remain heat.
